never forget what they took from us.

The way Michael gripped the doorknob when Joe got closer so he could escape if he started attacking him, then avoided eye contact… it’s the little details in the movie that show Michael’s trauma responses & they nailed it

And it really was from a fan. Girls used to kiss him, tear at his clothes, steal his fedora, pull at his hair, rip off buttons or pieces of his jacket. MJ was too patient cause they were insane 😭

had to revisit this to cheer myself up.

WE FINALLY GOT THIS CLIP OMG 😭 mj fans know that this was lost media

All those bitter gay men in other fandoms just want Michael so they pick on him like kids do when they have a crush

woah more of jaafar singing beat it!!

"If anyone's going to be most like me, it's that one!" MICHAEL KNEW.

This childhood clip of Jaafar is such insane foreshadowing. He did a circle glide at the Hayvenhurst theater AND it was to Bad!

the footage of jaafar in a tilted fedora is how i know he‘s going to look insane performing smooth criminal

the way you could still see his scar despite having hair pieces on, yet they pushed him to overwork his body and keep performing. everyone involved in exploiting him throughout his life will have to answer for it

i immediately recognized this look, this is really how people described seeing michael walk through the neighborhood 😭

that "alright" was jaafar 😭 the way they mixed their voices is so interesting & if your ear is MJ-trained then you definitely had fun hearing the differences in the theater

if i was jaafar and discovered i looked this good in long hair and eyeliner, i’d get an awakening and never look back

New rare footage of MJ at Disneyland '83 🧚‍♀️

Took Joe‘s seat 😭 He‘s so unserious

PULL THROUGH JAPAN. TAKE US TO THE FINISH LINE. ARIGATŌ

Michael did 'eras' before Madonna debuted. He had concepts in his shows before her. HE put all elements together & created the modern pop star. Stop crediting her just cause your music history is limited to white artists. It all traces back to MJ & other Black artists

The Pepsi accident happened when Michael was 25 years, 4 months and 29 days old, and he passed away exactly 25 years, 4 months, and 29 days later.

Marlon watching the Victory tour scenes.. I can’t imagine how surreal that must’ve been

THIS PART WAS CUT FROM THE MOVIE! we finally get to see him do these moves, even the ankle-breaker! He‘s so spot on

Even his own FRIENDS recorded their private phone calls & then sold them. how lonely must he have felt living in a reality where he couldn't trust anyone, where NOBODY had his best interest at heart? do people realize how depressing that is??

he knows he ate this whole sequence of moves 😭😭 look at the sass and attitude

the way he portrayed s^icide… and given how autobiographical ghosts is, it breaks my heart every time 💔

oh michael must've not liked so many performers, he said they’re counting steps in their head 😭 every pop artist is trying too hard to be a dancer

I think we know why Diana pulled out…

NEW MICHAEL FOOTAGE! MOTOWN 25!

held that walk the entire way 😭

PEOPLE ARE FINALLY WAKING UP. It‘s literally why he had to get his nose (and scalp) done multiple times. His skin kept collapsing because of Lupus which wouldn’t allow him to heal, so he *needed* reconstructive surgeries.

the way his performer persona turned off the second they yelled cut omg

how did he come up with something like this in 1985. he was in 2040

We were really robbed of witnessing Jaafar perform the biggest gag of the 80s…

please wake it up.

The way Michael went through 50+ takes of "go with it, jam" and they all sound identical but he‘s just waiting for the PERFECT delivery 😭 i‘d go insane working with this man

"see you in july" was also the last thing michael said to jaafar. who knew he meant the july 17 years later. this was all meant to be 🥲

"MICHAEL" director Antoine Fuqua says a director’s cut will be released because he forgot to include the Speed Demon scene.

Remember when someone asked Michael‘s sound engineer why Michael always sang his own background vocals and he said "cause he couldn’t find a better singer." Exactly.

Michael was dehumanized to the point that it was normalized to call him "crazy monkey" without getting any backlash. People have no idea what he went through. The hate he received, and continues to receive, is all racially motivated.

they were so gagged lmfaoo real

Jaafar saying that MJ‘s spin was the hardest move to recreate is so real. You not only have to get the direction right but they’re also extremely fast 😭 idk how MJ never got dizzy
