Andor bringing back art deco Coruscant was one of the best things it visually did

This 15 seconds of Return of the Jedi is just so delightful. Some of the best miniature work in the saga, amazing costumes, the forgotten Rebel Fleet motif, oddly doc-style camera work, awesome set design– it's all really wonderful.

The scene where Boba Fett finally, truly escapes with Han has always stood out to me. The despair on Leia's face in that wonderful closeup. Cinema.

I know everyone's Andorposting rn but man, TLJ has the sauce.

Watching the Battle of Endor is crazy because you'll just randomly stumble upon a shot that's easily the best miniature-work in the history of cinema and then you see that again like 15 more times.

The tactile nature of the Force Awakens is not talked about enough. It's a very physical film. It's rough– textured, like you can touch and feel it. The blasters have a distinct dangerous kickback and punch to them. It feels tangible and real in a similar way to the originals.

Other than the disappearing knife, this fight actually contains some of the best fight choreography in Star Wars. Kylo facing multiple guards is creative, fun, and very well done.

I know people don't like the volume now, but man... The Book of Boba Fett used it to make a solitary elevator set piece appear to move up, have the character exit and walk around, and then get in and go down again, all in a 2-min long take.

Imagine supporting the Empire after Andor…
