I want to point out how much of a class act Joshua Jefferson has been the past week. He gets to play in NCAA Tourney, has it ripped away, and still answers every question openly and honestly, over and over while being his same polite self. Hard not to root for him #Cyclones

The Iowa band fought back tears as they performed in honor of their bandmate Derek Phillips, who died last weekend after collapsing from the heat at the Iowa football game. My heart breaks for him, his friends, and family. Powerful night. #Hawkeyes Video by Dylan Coon

I hate this. #Hawkeyes senior Gabbie Marshall has gotten angry messages directed at her about the screen call last night so she has decided to delete social media. "That one play consumed everything." Video by Shannon Ehrhardt KCCI News

This is what kind or leader Rocco Becht is. Instead of running to the lockerroom after the 45-19 loss, he stood waiting in the tunnel and until he could say something to every single teammate. #Cyclones KCCI News #Big12Championship

"The purity is gone." Lifelong coach Mark Farley (41 plaers to NFL) is retiring at age 61 because of how he feels the game has changed. He talked about in-home visits to guys like Karter Schult, and watching them develop over the years. Doesn't want to deal w NIL, transfers, etc

I’ve NEVER seen a buzzer beater like this. Why? Madrid Tiger Pride Samantha Springer hits a 3/4 court 3 to beat Orient-Macksburg 41-38 in the playoffs. That’s the last game ever for O/M which is closing due to low #s after being open since 1921. A century of sports ends in heartbreak.

This is wild to watch. Here’s what the new Big 12 court looks like from up top during intros and timeouts. During game play there’s no animation, but we did see some stats displayed during free throws on the end of the court where the FTs are not being shot. #Cyclones

NUTS! DCGACTIVITIES trailed Norwalk by 2 in the final minute. Ava Smid scored off the inbounds play, stole the Norwalk inbounds and scored, then stole the Norwalk inbounds AGAIN and scored AGAIN. 6 points in 12 seconds. DCG goes on to win 47-42. Vid by DCG

This is wild. The old gym at Orient-Macksburg had brick walls right around the out of bounds lines. Fans watched from the windows above. Was in use for decades until 1965. Don’t dive for balls, kids.

Betcha didn't know THIS happened.... Caitlin Clark and Monika Czinano explain "Operation Mon-bag" to the #Hawkeyes masses. So much drama!
