First and foremost, a proud Ukranian. Says her heart is there. But this is someone who started a GoFundMe just to jumpstart a pro career after playing at Old Dominion. Someone who worked part time at a country club in NY. She knew this was a life changing run in Charleston, she wasn't able to sleep the past 3 nights. The thoughts in her head. ETSU head coach Tre Lamb, literally in tears talking about the Helene ordeal. Stuck in a homeless shelter parking lot. No cell service. Johnson City hit and the toll this has taken on the area the Bucs call home. Wow. 2:30 worth listening to.

Georgetown HS head baseball coach Rod Sanders could have gone the easy way. Jumped on a plane to Cincinnati to see his brother Reggie go into the Cincinnati Reds hall of fame on Saturday. He went, the hard way. Taking his entire varsity team, and coaches to Cincinnati to share the moment. Let his real family meet his baseball family. Let kids who had never flown, fly. Players who had never been to an MLB game, see a meaningful one. What a journey.
