Female college athletes deserve to play knowing that their programs will not be cut and that they have the ability to profit on their NIL. With the majority of funds going towards the high payouts of popular men’s sports, there’s less room for women’s programs to grow. The Protect College Sports Act helps shrink the gap—generating dedicated revenue to women’s programs, preventing the elimination of sports, and protecting scholarships and academics.
