It astonishes me that Sonic Team went from modern Pokémon-tier cutscene quality (and Frontiers still somehow looks less shit than modern Pokémon) to nearly Insomniac Games cutscene quality with Shadow Generations

Actually, it took Toys for Bob going completely independent and having a partnership with Xbox for Spyro to get new life. If they were still stuck with Activision, Spyro: A Realm Beyond wouldn’t be a thing, despite the Reignited Trilogy having sold over 10 million copies 🤷🏾‍♂️

Easily the best voice of JJJ. I know this will be a contentious take given how iconic J.K. Simmons is. But I genuinely think he has this perfect balance between sounding cartoonishly grumpy without becoming unbearable and effectively hearing his softer performance when needed

Hollow Bastion getting reformed as the main hub in Kingdom Hearts 2 and having numerous key moments was already rewarding enough for me as someone who adores the first game’s entire climax. But Nomura went above and beyond with this whole moment that gave me actual happy tears 🥹
