I'm happy to see that the cutscene animations in SpongeBob: Titans of the Tides continue to be high quality, as the Cosmic Shake impressively set that standard very high. Might I remind you that these are $40 SpongeBob games with a lower budget than triple-A 3D platformers

This is lowkey how every game that is melee combat focused feels to me now after playing the 3D Ninja Gaiden games for the first time last year 😭

While it’s no surprise that the cutscene animations in SpongeBob: Titans of the Tide are solid, the cutscene transitions have improved as they seamlessly transition from cutscene to gameplay without fading to black like in Cosmic Shake (no black borders either, thank god)
