🚨 THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. CANADA, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? A man with no reported income managed to get the CRA to approve $40 MILLION in bogus tax refunds. Over $10 MILLION was actually paid out. He even contacted the CRA beforehand to explain his bizarre beliefs about secret government accounts. The money still went through. Here's the kicker. It wasn't the CRA that caught it. A BANK MANAGER raised the alarm and prevented another $30 million from being paid out. CBC's The Fifth Estate uncovered 19 similar cases involving nearly $300 MILLION in claimed refunds. No criminal charges against the man at the time of the report. Meanwhile, ordinary Canadians face scrutiny over their tax returns. How does a federal agency responsible for collecting billions in taxes allow something like this to happen?

A gang allegedly sends a letter TO POLICE claiming: “We have 5,000 gang members in Canada.” “We pay $1,000 to carry out a shooting.” “We will take over Canada soon.” “Everyone will have to pay a tax.” “You can’t stop us.” A criminal organization allegedly felt comfortable enough to put that in writing and SEND IT TO CANADIAN POLICE. Meanwhile, CBSA says 188 removal orders have been issued in extortion-linked cases, with 111 people removed as of this month. How did we get to the point where this is happening in Canada?

This Pearson Airport story somehow keeps getting worse. W5 literally walked in from the street into the baggage pickup area and showed how easy it would allegedly be to grab a “drug bag” and leave. They also observed workers entering without pass scans and random people using exit doors. And this is at Canada’s busiest airport.

WAIT… WHAT? 🇨🇦 CTV says innocent Canadians are allegedly having their luggage tags swapped at Pearson Airport… then unknowingly flying suitcases filled with drugs to countries where trafficking can carry the DEATH PENALTY. One woman was detained for 7 hours after border agents found 45 lbs of meth inside a suitcase tagged with her name. RCMP has already arrested multiple Pearson baggage/ramp workers connected to tag switching.

🚨 THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WILD. An undercover auditor walked into an Ontario driving school and allegedly paid just $200 for a driver education certificate. Required training: 10 HOURS behind the wheel. 30 HOURS of coursework. Completed by the undercover “student”? ZERO. Yet a certificate was submitted to the MTO saying the training had been completed. The MTO concluded there was a deliberate attempt to profit by falsifying a key document and revoked the licences of TWO related driving schools. But here’s the twist: The Ontario Superior Court upheld the sanction against Peel Driving School, but QUASHED the revocation of the related Unique Driving School because its owner was never asked or tasked with instructing the undercover student. The case was sent back to the MTO for reconsideration and the MTO was ordered to pay $10,000 in legal costs. Meanwhile, Peel Driving School’s licence remains REVOKED. If people can obtain certificates saying they completed mandatory driver training when they actually completed ZERO hours… This is about PUBLIC SAFETY.

I was saying this back in February. Now the Parliamentary Budget Officer is confirming it. Canada is expected to spend over $1 BILLION to host 13 World Cup matches. That’s more than $82 million per game. Officials claim tourism and economic activity will justify the cost. Okay then. Where’s the full cost benefit analysis? Where’s the final net revenue projection after security, infrastructure, tax exemptions, and overruns? At a time of rising debt, strained hospitals, weak per capita growth, and high youth unemployment, taxpayers deserve more than “trust us.”
