Watching a farmer wash his hands in Jangwa herbicide like it’s plain water is horrifying. But worse he says Amezoea. Metribuzin doesn't care if you "zoea" it, it destroys your liver etc silently until it’s too late. You can literally see the damage taking its toll on him. But he doesn't know. Chemical safety in Kenyan agriculture is completely broken. Who is supposed to be training these farmers? I think we will do a petition to Parliament to do some legislation on this.

What were these students thinking? I genuinely don't understand it. From what I've seen, this doesn't look like a split-second mistake. It raises serious questions about planning, intent, and what they expected would happen after the fires were started. I've never watched footage of an arson incident before, and it's difficult to comprehend how someone could knowingly start a fire in a dormitory full of students and not anticipate the potential consequences. Perhaps there are facts investigators still need to uncover, but as things stand, I am struggling to make sense of it. What do you think was going through their minds?

💔 URGENT: 18-year-old Blessing vanished into thin air after stepping out for food in Mombasa… and her mother, Caroline, is living a nightmare. I’ve been screaming about this for months, and almost nobody listened.🚩 This week in Parliament, Kiarie finally said out loud what many of us from North Eastern and Meru have known in our bones: toxic and nuclear waste was dumped on our land during the Moi years… and it’s still killing us. I tested miraa. Found carcinogenic pesticides. We tried to test the water from the suspected dump sites. Kenya had no capacity. We had to send samples all the way to Vietnam and Europe. Now the same poison is being mentioned in the House. If that waste is still buried under our feet, why is it still there? Why are our people still drinking it, farming on it, and burying their children because of it? Cancer is eating our families. Livestock are dropping. Whole villages are suffering while the powerful stay quiet. I refused to stay quiet then.
