People still underestimate what the Khamenei strike actually did. The compound went to ash. The man who sat on the country for 37 years was killed with his family. Stop asking why Iranians carry the Israeli flag. Start asking who called our dead Mossad. Pezeshkian stood on the UN floor and called our dead foreign agents. Incited and armed by America and Israel, he said. Mossad assets. Rioters. Anyone with a functioning brain knows what January was. Unarmed Iranians in the street. The IRGC with rifles. Families of the slain are still posting the same sentence the regime will not allow into that hall: they were not armed, and they did not belong to anyone but Iran. That is why you see the Israeli flag among Iranians. Netanyahu used that same floor to name the Islamic Republic a murderous dictatorship and to say what Pezeshkian came to bury: the Iranian people will bring it down. He spent the time exposing the lie. He split the nation from the regime in front of the world. After that performance, Iranians waving a Palestinian flag would have been a joke. Those banners belong to the chorus that either shrugged at January massacre or treated the massacre as a win for “resistance.” Israel has stood with Iranians from the start of this. We will return that favor, and more. The flag is memory. A government that murders you and then slanders your corpse as a Zionist project should not be surprised when you pick up the flag it used as the slander. You see American flags for the same reason, and for a narrower one. Trump stood with Iranians. His movement did. That support is real, and it is also personal. It lives in one president and the people who follow him. It is not yet the settled position of a nation. Israel’s stance has been institutional. That difference is why one flag feels like a country’s hand and the other still feels like a man’s. We do not wave the flag of the people who clapped for our executioners. A small country said the words Europe would not say from the UN podium. Slovenia stood on the right side of history. Janez Janša stood at the UN and named Iran. And then the sentence that should have come from Paris or Berlin: there is no sufficiently serious condemnation of this inside the United Nations. That is the scandal. Not that Slovenia spoke. That it had to. The rest of the European Union spent the week on the familiar choreography. Walkouts for the cameras. Statements about navigation and ceasefires. Kallas sitting down with Araghchi as if the man across the table were a counterpart and not a courier for a killing machine. They can find their voice for Israel in an afternoon. For the Iranian gallows they reach for process. Janša called the thing by its name: inconsistency. Principles that apply when the corpse is fashionable and go quiet when the corpse is Iranian. January was a massacre. The hangings did not stop when the cameras left. Political prisoners are still being processed into statistics. If that does not “demand serious attention,” the phrase human rights has become a costume. Credit Slovenia for doing the minimum the continent pretends is its brand. One prime minister from a country of two million said what the machinery of Brussels would not put in a plenary sentence. This is European abdication with a Slovenian footnote. The EU has lost the moral high ground it keeps citing. You cannot lecture the world about values while the only precise accounting of Iranian executions in that hall comes from Slovenia. The cowards chose the softer file. Janša chose the dead. History will not confuse those two choices, and neither will the Iranian people.

Two videos from 9/11. Same catastrophe. Two different civilizations. One is Tehran in the days after 9/11. Young Iranians lighting candles in the dark, handing the flame down the line, saying *America, condolences*. They sing the national anthem. They chant death to terrorists. The regime’s enforcers tried to snuff it out. The crowd did it anyway. That is a people acting like a nation that still knows how to mourn strangers. The other is the Palestinians on September 12, 2001, aired live. Kids with both arms in the air. Men grinning through car windows. Candy thrown into the street the way you throw it at a wedding. *Allahu akbar.* A woman explaining, on camera, that she is happy because America is the head of the snake and always stands with Israel. That is not confusion. That is not “grief looking different.” That is celebration of mass murder, treated as a public holiday. This is the split that does not close. Iran is an old, city-building, pre-Islamic civilization with a death cult sitting on its chest. The lion and sun is older than the Islamic Republic. The people in that vigil were behaving like the country underneath the occupation. In a lot of the rest of the Islamic world the polarity is reversed: the palace spends its energy containing the street. Officials issue statements. The crowd hands out sweets. That difference is why the lion-and-sun revolt is not costume nostalgia. It shows that Iranians are a Western-adjacent nation trapped under a theocracy, instead of as just another constituency in a single interchangeable “Muslim nations”. We are not the same. This footage in 2001 already showed that. Modern footage is even more numerous.

🚨Trump on Fox News today: “Khamenei is gone. The son is 90% gone.” Not Khomeini — that was just a sloppy transcription or a gaff as these names are too similar. He clearly meant Ali Khamenei and his son Mojtaba. This is huge. The President of the United States is now publicly saying Mojtaba is 90% gone. I already covered in a lengthy article why I think Mojtaba is dead, so this video is just another evidence. The regime needed the Khamenei name for legitimacy, but they couldn’t risk a living heir who might think for himself. The lies are getting harder to hide. Dead puppet or hiding heir? As an Iranian in Iran, I need to point out that the economic situation in Iran is catastrophic right now. Most people still haven't received their Farvardin monthly salaries (March 21-April 20 in Iranian calendar). Businesses are seeing record-low sales — when no one has income, people only buy bare survival necessities. I can personally confirm this: I haven't been paid either. I've started selling whatever I can just to get by. Bank staff, nurses, teachers, pensioners — none have received their money. I have practically zero income. If it wasn't for the free Starlink for Iranians (thank you Elon Musk), I wouldn't even have internet right now. This is the brutal reality on the ground. Yet Islamic regime agents keep lying that "the enemy" (the West) is paying a heavier price. Complete nonsense. The Hormuz situation strained things globally a bit, but it's nothing compared to what Iranians are enduring. The IDF took Hezbollah’s largest and most fortified underground complex in all of Lebanon: the Ali al-Taher ridge near Nabatieh. Missile stores, drone workshops, command rooms. Whether you believe in God or not, look at what happened to the Iranian team. They were denied three wins — against New Zealand, Egypt, and Belgium — all by offside calls. The taste of victory was given to them, then violently taken back. They hit the post. They missed penalties. Those things happen in football. But then three separate scenarios that could have kept them in the tournament all failed too. Hope was constantly within reach… only to be snuffed out at the last second. This is the same pain that has been echoing for years: the wailing of thousands of parents who lost their children, the cries of children who lost their parents, the grief of slaughtered friends, brothers, sisters, husbands and wives. The players didn’t honor any of it. They spat on the memory and sacrifice of the dead. So the Universe humbled them in public.
