A month in 3 mins! This is a timelapse of the #Seattle weather highlights of Feb 2023. I had a camera set up to take one photo every minute from Jan 18th to Feb 28th. The whole timelapse is above 30 minutes. So I edited down the Feb portion to just 3 mins of the highlights.

Alright, I think this is my final post from this #sturgeonmoon2023 in #Seattle. I put together all my timelapses into one video. Shooting a timelapse of a moon rise/set is always a bit nerve-wracking as you are committed to your tripod position once you start the shooting. So you just have to trust your calculations that it would align. I am glad it did all three times.

Alright, I think this is my final post from this #sturgeonmoon2023 in #Seattle. I put together all my timelapses into one video. Shooting a timelapse of a moon rise/set is always a bit nerve-wracking as you are committed to your tripod position once you start the shooting. So you just have to trust your calculations that it would align. I am glad it did all three times.

The fireworks were held at #LakeUnion, but I captured these shots from West Seattle, overlooking #ElliottBay. This perspective allows for a nice lens compression, making it appear as if the fireworks are happening right behind #Spaceneedle.

Shooting a moon alignment video requires pretty precise location planning as you can't move your tripod once you start. I plan these shots using PhotoPills.
