Here's a timelapse video of that amazing moon rise from last night. There was enough ambient light when the moon started rising, I was able to capture the details on the shadows, which is usually hard during the waning moon phases. #Seattle #HuntersMoon

An old favorite. Throwback to my favorite moonrise timelapse ever! As much as I would love to say I planned everything perfectly, that ferry timing was total luck. #Seattle #fullmoon

Timelapse #2 from yesterday’s #crescentmoon setting behind #spaceneedle… This time a wider view, traffic was bad, but at least it was moving faster than the moon 😀 #Seattle

Wow, #Seattle absolutely crushed it ringing in 2025! Epic lights and fireworks, and that Drone show was total next-level!!! Even the weather was on point, blowing the smoke away from the show unlike last year. Cheers to starting the new year with a bang! #alaskaairlinesNYE #spaceneedle #nyeneedle

Here's Timelapse #1 of today's gorgeous #Seattle #Sunrise over #Tahoma aka Mt.Rainier. I have a wider timelapse to share later too, beauty like this needed at least two cameras to capture it all!

A month in 3 mins! This is a timelapse of the #Seattle weather highlights of Feb 2023. I had a camera set up to take one photo every minute from Jan 18th to Feb 28th. The whole timelapse is above 30 minutes. So I edited down the Feb portion to just 3 mins of the highlights.

Alright, I think this is my final post from this #sturgeonmoon2023 in #Seattle. I put together all my timelapses into one video. Shooting a timelapse of a moon rise/set is always a bit nerve-wracking as you are committed to your tripod position once you start the shooting. So you just have to trust your calculations that it would align. I am glad it did all three times.

I now have 2 weeks of footage of my mega 30 day #Seattle TL. I thought it will be fun to do a side by side comparison of two days that started out very similar, but diverged as the day went by. Here’s the footage from 1/29 and 1/30 midnight to midnight.

Here’s a Timelapse of the #july4thfireworks in #Seattle last night compressed to 23 seconds. P.S. The fireworks were held at #LakeUnion, but I captured these shots from West Seattle, overlooking #ElliottBay. This perspective allows for a nice lens compression, making it appear as if the fireworks are happening right behind #Spaceneedle.

Here's a #timelapse of this morning's #pinkmoon setting behind #SpaceNeedle in the #Seattle skyline. Shooting a moon alignment video requires pretty precise location planning as you can't move your tripod once you start. I plan these shots using PhotoPills. Camera: Fujifilm GFX100s Lens: GF250mm + 1.4 TC Settings: f/5.6, 1/60S, 1000 ISO, 3 sec Interval #MyFujifilmLegacy
