Your allies having arrived in the First earlier and having changed over the years is such a fun setup for an expansion. Yshtola having to worry mainly about sin eaters for so long that she at first doesnt even recognize you is heartbreaking and tells so much about their struggles

I'm so SO glad they decided to make an Ascian one of the main characters of this expansion. Getting a lore drop like this is much more satisfying when it isn't part of an evil monologue or something like that. I'm starting to really like Emet-Selch (not that I trust him)

Steel Haze Ortus was such a fun fight. Giving Rusty multiple heals just like you makes it feel like fighting a true equal and the pulse armor revival feels straight out of a mecha anime Alba's design and the music really make it feel like the desperate last stand of a protagonist
