I'll always remember the day in 2017, we had to urgently transport our mother to Karachi in an ambulance on a 10-hour journey. This experience is common in Quetta due to limited access to quality healthcare. Unless we take action, no one else will do it for us. In 2018, we undertook the challenging task of establishing a world-class facility in Quetta with the aim of delivering high-quality care closer to home. Fast forward five years, and we are on the brink of opening our doors to a cutting-edge multi specialty facility equipped with digital health management systems, modern operating theaters, a cardiac catheterization lab, Siemens MRI and CT scan machines, and Roche diagnostic laboratory services. We are determined to prevent other families from going through what my mother experienced. Crucially, congenital heart disease disproportionately affects underprivileged children, and there is currently no CHD facility in Balochistan and Afghanistan. Through our foundation, Aria for Life Foundation (which is tax-exempt in the US), we will offer free treatment for children with this condition. We initially started this journey alone, but we invite you to join hands with us to make it a success for our families and patients. #AriaforLife #AIMS
