Great IPL win for RCB, but the political drama surrounding it leaves a bitter taste. Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar’s statement that "RCB matches should have been held in Bengaluru, injustice has been done to us" completely ignores the harsh reality. The franchise didn't just leave their own home state out of nowhere; they were practically pushed out due to the sheer greed and interference of local politicians. It is time to plan a massive, well-deserved celebration, secure all the necessary police permissions, and ensure the safety and management of the massive crowds. PS: I feel for Shubman Gill. Was waiting for this and it happened. Chaos unfolded just outside Bandra station on day 2 of the demolition drive in Garibnagar escalated into a major security standoff. What started as an enforcement action (directed by courts) against illegal structures quickly spiraled when a volatile crowd pushed back, launching a barrage of stones at the officials on site. With the situation slipping out of hand, Mumbai Police had to move in fast with a lathi-charge to break up the mob and regain control of the streets.
