Great IPL win for RCB, but the political drama surrounding it leaves a bitter taste. Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar’s statement that "RCB matches should have been held in Bengaluru, injustice has been done to us" completely ignores the harsh reality. The franchise didn't just leave their own home state out of nowhere; they were practically pushed out due to the sheer greed and interference of local politicians. It is time to plan a massive, well-deserved celebration, secure all the necessary police permissions, and ensure the safety and management of the massive crowds. PS: I feel for Shubman Gill. One of my fav player.

Was waiting for this and it happened. Chaos unfolded just outside Bandra station on day 2 of the demolition drive in Garibnagar escalated into a major security standoff. What started as an enforcement action (directed by courts) against illegal structures quickly spiraled when a volatile crowd pushed back, launching a barrage of stones at the officials on site. With the situation slipping out of hand, Mumbai Police had to move in fast with a lathi-charge to break up the mob and regain control of the streets. The area remains under heavy lockdown as security forces work to keep a lid on the tension. Sigh

Sanju Samson just casually dropped a reality check for the professional language warriors. Knowing Hindi and Tamil along with Malayalam didn't make him less of a South Indian, it made him a better teammate. While the keyboard activists are busy gatekeeping, Sanju is busy winning World Cups by actually communicating with his brothers from Punjab to Chennai. Keep winning, Sanju 😂🔥

'It is clearly visible that AIMIM's corporator Mateen Patel had a hand in keeping Nida Khan hidden. Who else was backing them will also be found out. We will investigate whether they are involved in conversion racket, were they helping it or had blessed it' - Devendra Fadnavis 🔥

The CBI’s arrest of Shivraj Motegaonkar, founder of Renukai Chemistry Classes (RCC), has blown the lid off the NEET 2026 paper leak and there is a Congress connection to it, a Latur pattern. This isn't just about one coaching center; it’s about a deep-rooted system that has reportedly auctioned the dreams of 23 lakh students. Investigators reportedly found leaked NEET questions on Motegaonkar’s phone dating back to April 23 - 10 days before the exam. Parents allege that 42 questions in an RCC mock test were identical carbon copies of the actual paper. Motegaonkar is linked to PV Kulkarni, a retired professor who sat on the NTA paper-setting committee. This wasn't a leak; it was an inside job. In Latur, Motegaonkar isn’t just a teacher; he’s a high-profile figure known for his close proximity to the city's power elite, specifically Congress leader Amit Deshmukh and the influential Deshmukh family. For years, he has been seen at every major political gathering, positioning himself as the face of Latur’s educational success. Is it a coincidence that a man with such deep political protection managed to get his hands on a top-secret national paper? #Maharashtra deserves an investigation that doesn't stop at the classroom door but follows the trail all the way to the bungalows of Latur’s political bosses.

Peacefuls of Naya nagar (Mira road, where 31-year-old Zaib Ansari recently assaulted two security guards after asking them to read kalma) are openly threatening MNS over Marathi. MNS chief Raj Thackeray should accept the challenge of Ahmed Qureshi and make him speak Marathi. Do it.

Under the then CM Uddhav Thackeray, the arrested him in fron of his son in presence of 35 cops. They put him in jail and NCP's minister Nawab Malik even boasted to the media that #arnabgoswami was never coming out of jail. He is now in Delhi only because of MVA goons and has every right to roast Uddhav Thackeray.

Reporter: Are there more girls in this company who have faced similar issues and haven't spoken up yet? Former Employee: Yes, there were many girls, but most of them left the job. Some got married, some went elsewhere. The HR manager used to harass and torture them, which is why they quit. Former Employee (continued): "They would go out for breakfast in the morning and then for lunch at around 2.30 or 3 pm. They would plan everything from outside and then come in. Since HR was on their side, they didn't pay much attention to what was happening. If anyone tried to complain to HR, they would just pressure them to stay quiet. The Nashik TCS BPO saga. Sigh

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj fought for hindawi swaraj, not some modern version of secularism. VFX cannot replace the तेज (aura) required to play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Riteish Deshmukh lacks the vibe; it feels like a filtered performance. He lacks the raw intensity and physique which the role demands. If you want to see Maharaj brought to life with dignity and power, look at actor Sharad Kelkar, he captured the soul of the King. I will pass this.

Ujjwal Nikam’s interview with Hussain Zaidi is a terrifying look at how deep the rot went during 26/11. To hear that #Delhi wanted to limit Ajmal Kasab’s chargesheet to just CST and Cama hospital, ignoring the larger Pakistani conspiracy, is proof of a deliberate attempt to protect the handlers across the border. Nikam confirmation that there was pressure from Delhi to 'simplify' the case against Kasab is a slap in the face to every victim. By trying to exclude the LeT handlers and the ISI link from the initial plan, Congress wanted the masterminds go scot-free. If then Mumbai CP Hassan Gafoor and Nikam hadn't stood their ground, the world would have never seen the full face of state-sponsored terror. This is why the Congress can never be trusted with national security. Never forget. Never forgive.

India is witnessing a bizarre spectacle: political leaders hitting the streets to protest against transparency in foreign funding. The real reason the Opposition is rattled by the #FCRAAmendmentBill2026 is the designated authority. If these funds are for social work, why the panic over a designated authority ensuring they aren't diverted? The ruckus in Parliament today only proves how deeply the foreign-funded ecosystem has its claws in our politics. Under this Bill, for the first time, the govt can seize and manage assets built with foreign money if an NGO’s license is cancelled. So no more disappearing funds or shifting assets to shell entities. No more buying expensive jewellery or run a conversion racket. The protest at Makar Dwar today wasn't about minority rights, it was about protecting a decades-old payroll.

Woke up to read Tim Cook, CEO of the world's most valuable company Apple expressing excitement about India's opportunity and Ruchir Sharma back with his seasonal 'India is failing' tour, diligently organised by his lutyens fans. Honestly, I have been following him for just over a decade. Facts: He was wrong about digitisation. Wrong about the 2024 'undercurrent.' Wrong about the resilience of domestic markets. Now, he’s targeting AI - ignoring that India is the global leader in AI adoption and home to the world's largest ChatGPT mobile user base. While he pines for the Chinese top-down model (read more and you will understand his China worship), India is building Sovereign AI through Bhashini to empower 22 languages and scaling an AI service sector headed for $17B by 2027. He keeps on judging India’s 2026 reality with a 1990s manufacturing playbook. Maybe if his fund returns matched his confidence in 'breakout nations' like Turkey or Brazil, people will listen. Every time he does doom-mongering, I remind myself he is chairman of Rockfeller International. Rest my case here.

The pyre is barely cold, but the seat cannot stay warm. Sunetra Pawar’s move to be sworn in as Deputy CM a day after her husband Ajit Pawar's funeral is a stark, almost tragic, display of political survival. In family-led parties, the "Head" is gone, but the "Lineage" must march on. Grief delayed is the price of power. 🏛️

The political script in Maharashtra never changes - only the seasons do. Just two days ago, Sharad Pawar broke his public hiatus (after securing his RS seat) to hold a press conference. Ostensibly addressing a global fuel conservation brief, his main political weapon was aimed squarely at CM Devendra Fadnavis, criticising his public stance and rhetoric against RaGa. Awww. Maharashtra media went orgasmic as their Godfather was back. Right on cue, his caste stooge Manoj Jarange Patil held a critical meeting at Antarwali Sarati and announced a brand-new indefinite hunger strike starting May 30. Jarange Patil has handed down a hard deadline of May 29 for the state government to issue Kunbi caste certificates across Marathwada and dismantle the current Maratha quota sub-committee. Get ready for the circus. Again.
