One UI 8 and 8.5 were so stable, but One UI 9 is kinda buggy, whether it is on my Galaxy Z Fold8 or this S26 Ultra that I just updated a few hours ago. A small thing (and most of the bugs were just visual), but sometimes it can slow down your daily tasks. For example:

I think Apple’s design direction for the iPhone is moving away from what I would consider as “simplicity” to “playfulness” lately. I personally don’t think most of these are bad in terms of how they look (they are actually beautiful), but I feel like they just look a little off next to other iOS visual elements. For example: • Action button settings • Dynamic Island animations • Much more bouncy Control Centre animations • Redesigned iMessage attachment/“+”menu

For those of you who are using iOS 26 Dev Beta 1, here's what you can do to get a better experience of using your iPhone. 1. If you don't like the new default behaviour of showing the toolbar when taking a screenshot, you can go to Settings -> General -> Screen capture -> Disable Full-screen Previews

Google is partnering with Meta to "fix" Instagram on Android 17. Here's what that means: ✅ Videos captured and uploaded using flagship Android 17 phones will have "the same or better" video quality than iPhone ✅ Ultra HDR capture and playback ✅ Built-in video stabilisation ✅ Built-in Night mode ✅ More optimised for Android tablets It is also said that they have optimised the capture-to-upload pipeline to ensure that photos and videos remain sharp after they are posted.

People are complaining about iOS 26 having bugs even though it is still in its Dev Beta 1 stage. How about you tell Samsung to fix this buggy interface that has been on One UI 7 phones for 5 months?

The awesome look & smoothness of OPPO's ColorOS 17 starts before you even update the phone. Just look at that changelog screen, with those super detailed visuals about the update. Got the beta update on my global Find X9 Ultra unit, and I can't wait to test it more thoroughly.

This is the new Xiaomi 18 Fold! Finally, another folding phone from the brand after two years of hiatus. It adopts a wider form factor, similar to the Huawei Pura X Max and Galaxy Z Fold8.

OPPO's ColorOS 17 is smoooooth! I bet that this brand will continue to make the smoothest, most fluid Android skin out there.

Apple already "copied" Samsung by finally making a foldable phone. The next thing that I want Apple to copy from Samsung is Privacy Display. This feature is seriously useful, especially if you're often surrounded by nosy people during your daily commute.

The entire OPPO Find X10 Series looks awesome. The Find X10 Pro Max just looks incredible with refined design elements and that dual-tone finish. And despite the Find X10 might be getting inspiration from iPhone, it still has the brand's identity, especially if you look at the left part of the camera housing. Can't wait for September 22!

The lens switching transition on the vivo X300 Pro has to be the best I’ve ever seen on an Android phone so far. In some ways, it is even smoother than my iPhone 17 Pro due to the fact that the X300 Pro does not feel jumpy when the lens is being switched.
