When a constituent of mine is overpaid their benefits, it's clawed back- no matter how much it'll hurt them. When you, the Prime Minister, apparently unknowingly appoint a man, twice sacked from Govt, a man who maintained a friendship with a convicted Paedophile, a man bloody well nicknamed the Prince of Darkness and it blows up in your face- nah. It's everyone else's fault but yours. It's always one rule for them and another for everyone else!! Disgusting! But I'll keep fighting for you! 💪🏻

Will the real Keir Starmer please stand up? Is it the man who said that his govt would tread lightly on the lives of people? The man that said he'd have a decade of national renewal? The man who said we'd get better and then engulfed us all in this while the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. We deserve better 👏

That speech that the PM just gave is broke. Not on the money and cosplaying his way through what he thinks the main characters want to hear. It wasn't passionate, it wasn't fresh, it didn't speak to changing the damaging economic policies that have harmed my constituents- it wasn't just wide of the mark, it was up in space. This place desperately needs a strong & clear unifying vision- it's clear the PM cannot provide it.

This is why I do what I do- I believe in fair play, getting on in life and that everyone should have a good life. But the elites are laughing at us- raking in the cash, chums getting plum jobs while my constituents can't pay their bills. I don't act from ideology- I act for what's best for people. My message has struck a chord because no matter your political opinion, we all agree that our lives are not getting better whilst the elites are thriving. Something has to change. I think it's worth building consensus on that so that all of our people have better lives and that power is held to account. No more elites shafting the little guy and rubbing our face in it!

Why is this issue of fair play in public life & politics so important to me? I've seen people I've grown up with get tossed on the garbage heap of life, disregarded by a system that didn't care. I've heard career politicians make a living off the back of them. I've seen people get rich off the back of ordinary, decent workers while they still can't pay their rent. I've had enough and so have you. That's why I'll use my voice to be your voice when I get the opportunity in here. If that's too much for you, change the channel cos I'm cooking 🔥

The audacity of that PMQs was hard to stomach. But one chink of light was my friend Tessa Munt MP asking the PM about the Chinook Justice Campaign- something I'm proud to lead MPs on right across the House. 29 people should never have boarded Chinook ZD576. It wasn't airworthy- but the MOD fecklessly pressed it into service anyway. That decision cost 29 patriots their lives. The MOD & UKG now refuse to release the files relating to the crash- saying families must wait 100 years. That's beyond contempt and absolutely typical of the Establishment. If you think it's unjust, wrong and want to release the files, follow Chinook Justice and support us!!

Sometimes you've got to stand up and speak truth to power ✊️ This government have no idea of just how bad people have it right now. In fact, they've no clue. The cost of living crisis is crushing people. Crushing their hopes. Ordinary people kept their end of the bargain, paying in working hard but they've been let down by successive govts and have nothing to show for it. The govt need to urgently change economic course now and deliver for people, this can't continue.

I spoke today at the All Island Cancer Research Institute Conference in Dublin and I'm now at the Irish Parliament getting ready for Committee. I'll always go where I can deliver the most for my constituents- I'm not going to let this wreck of a Government stop me delivering for you!! 💪🏻

A busy evening at my Constituency Clinic- absolutely packed finishing at 10.30pm and one clear theme- people are desperate for this government to change course- people are hammered, hospitality hammered, small businesses, disabled people, you name it. If Govt MPs went round their Constituency as I do every weekend & did clinics they'd know this. They just arent listening. I am though and I'll continue to be your voice!

Unfortunately I have covid and I can't get "paired" for the Assisted Dying vote this Friday 😪 this is because it isn't a Government bill and therefore there are no pairings. I'm really glad that I've been so outspoken on this up to now and that you know how I would have voted. Yet again, other political parties are attempting to fabricate stories about my not being in Westminster this week, but I believe in transparency. My sort of Christianity doesn't lie and it doesn't mislead. Tell the truth and shame the devil, isn't that what they say? 🙏🙏 By the way, to those saying travel with covid? Jeepers- have a bit of humanity and respect for others. I'll be fine, but others wouldn't be if they got it. Such a selfish perspective.

Most people in Northern Ireland just want to get on and live and let live! They want the nonsense to stop and for politicians to get over themselves and get on with it! I'm getting on with the job of being the best MP for Lagan Valley that I can be, working right across the community for everyone for the betterment of us all. That's what drives me and what my focus is on; delivering on the issues that matter to you- health, education, jobs, standing up on national issues and hopefully doing so in a way that makes people in Lagan Valley proud, because I'm proud to serve you. 💪✨️🙏🫡

Nearly a tenner for a large tub of butter and sure we're never happy in this wee part of the world until we're rowing. And it's normally the same aul row that we've had since day dot. There's families in full time work who can't pay their bills, Children going hungry, the WORST cancer waiting times in the whole of the UK, but no, it's the outrage olympics on repeat. Well, I've news for you. It's not my bag 👛 so I'll not be getting involved- people will see who's prioritising what, and I'm damn sure they'll be more thankful for common sense work like trying to reduce household costs, support small businesses, improve cancer care, our health service and fix our crumbling school estate. We face a budget of horror next week and as per usual my focus is on delivering for people in Lagan Valley and letting the others get on with the circus 🎪
