The most important revelation from the dirty clash between Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and the Nigerian Navy over a parcel of land is not the shouting match itself, but the moment a Nigerian Police officer, sensing that things were about to turn violent, quietly spoke in Hausa to his colleague from the Nigerian Army Nigerian Army in an attempt to de-escalate the situation, HE WARNED THAT THIS NOT OUR FIGHT, BUT A FIGHT BETWEEN BIG MEN (THIEVES). It confirms exactly what I said when this incident first surfaced: "What we are witnessing is the deep rot of self-interest within the security and political establishment officials who serve a privileged minority instead of protecting the nation. Governor Nyesom Wike is not an exception; he is a perfect example of how personal power struggles routinely overshadow the national interest." For clarity, my great comrade Agba Jalingo has now translated the Hausa exchange between the police officer and the soldier into English, shedding even more light on the desperation to prevent the situation from turning bloody by stating the most critical fact of the confrontation. #RevolutionNow

This morning, I am back in the Federal High Court once again, standing firm against the machinery of injustice in the case instituted against me by the lawless Department of State Services (DSS) (an agency with a long and troubling record of violating the rights of Nigerians.) My offense? That I spoke a truth they can’t tolerate that I called Bola Ahmed Tinubu Tinubu a criminal.

Tinubu’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, vs. The People Who Refuse to Let Go! Compatriots, We are pleased to report that Tracy Nicolas Ohiri the businesswoman who was harassed, bullied, arrested, and detained following a dispute involving Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi has finally regained her freedom on bail. Her release did not happen by chance. It was the result of collective vigilance and sustained civic resistance that began from the moment she was arrested in Lagos and subsequently transferred to Abuja by the Nigeria Police Force. Yesterday, Mrs. Ohiri was brought before the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja. The presiding magistrate, Ope Ibraheem, heard arguments on bail and granted her release despite opposition from the police prosecutor. The court made it clear that she was entitled to bail under the law. However, what followed was brazen assault on due process. After the court granted bail and the sureties, including myself, fulfilled the conditions set by the magistrate, there were immediate efforts and high level conspiracy to frustrate her release. The police prosecutor mobilized Correctional officials, and immediate attempts were made within the system to secure a fake detention or remand order that would override the bail already granted and duely processed. The police sent a contingent of armed policemen to spirit her to prison until members of the Takeitback Movement resisted their efforts In the midst of this, today Tracy collapsed while in custody. Rather than prioritize her health, Correctional officers resisted allowing her to receive proper medical attention. Even after she was admitted to Wuse District Hospital, they arrived with full force to move her to Keffi for profiling. It took the sustained presence and intervention of concerned citizens at the hospital to ensure that she was not forcibly removed and that her medical needs were respected. More troubling still, we discovered indications that her detention documentation had been irregularly processed; it was forged. Such practices point to a deeply disturbing pattern within the Nigeria criminal justice chain, where administrative tools are manipulated to prolong detention and congest Nigerian prisons with largely awaiting trial inmates. I have personally experienced similar circumstances as recently as October 2025. The good news today is that Tracy Ohiri is free not because the system worked seamlessly, but because citizens refused to look away. We extend our gratitude to the legal team led by Marshal D F Abubakar, alongside Wayne Chikeze Seeker, Barrister Umez Prince Mandela, Chike Anago, A. K. Musa, and Tamuno Tonye-Ekundayo, whose unflinching dedication was instrumental to her release. Let's also acknowledge the steadfast support of her family, especially her husband, as well as civic actors and supporters who stood firm throughout, powerfully present was FLAG BOY NG , Mamapee, Verydarkblackman, Rex Elanu, Comrade Oshioks Philip, Olanrewaju Adeyemo, Faith Enattah Orinya, and Take it back Movement, as well as African Action Congress leaders. We must not fail to mention the role of medics at Wuse District Hospital who immediately provided lifesaving support as first responders. Senator Sen. Ireti Kingibe was present throughout and made high-level interventions to ensure that Tracy Ohiri could reunite with her little children and complete her medical treatment. We reiterate our clear and non-negotiable position to the Acting Inspector-General of Police, TUNJI DISU, that policing must not be deployed at the behest of powerful interests to harass citizens, whether under allegations of criminal defamation, provisions of the Cybercrime Act, or Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (SLAPP). The integrity of the Nigeria Police Force and all of its police units must depend on people's rights, respect for the law, and real law enforcement. The trial against Tracy Ohiri should be immediately discontinued. Nigeria deserves a police institution that protects the vulnerable, not one shielding only the powerful. Today, Tracy Ohiri is home. And that is a victory for vigilance, solidarity, and the rule of law.

Yesterday or indeed today is not a time to gloat over the horrific accident that nearly claimed the life of international boxing icon Anthony Joshua Joshua. Tragically, it did take the lives of his associates and possibly the driver involved. Their deaths must not be reduced to mere footnotes in the survival of a celebrity. Yet, because Anthony Joshua Joshua is a global figure, this incident has attracted massive attention. We must not allow this moment to pass without confronting our collective responsibility. These kinds of fatal accidents are the daily, naked reality of a nation that has failed failed in small things and in big ones alike. A country where road safety agencies and the police cannot provide even the most basic first aid. Where there are no stretchers, no functional ambulances, and certainly no air ambulances. Where people die not only from accidents, but from institutional neglect. This is why we must work sincerely and relentlessly toward a revolution one rooted in dignity, competence, and the sanctity of human life. I spoke frankly to Anthony Joshua years ago about the danger of aligning with Nigeria’s rotten leadership. It was an unpopular warning at the time, and many dismissed it. Time, however, has a way of validating uncomfortable truths. I must still insist that Anthony Joshua stop genuflecting at the altars of those who have failed Nigeria so catastrophically. It is time for him to turn his back on them. Icons must not lend legitimacy to dysfunction. My sincere condolences go to the families of the deceased. Their lives mattered, and they deserved far better than this broken system.

I commend all Nigerians who trooped out to the National Assembly today to confront the good-for-nothing 10th National Assembly and demand credible elections by insisting on the electronic transmission of election results, a critical provision shamefully yanked off by the Akpabio-led 10th Senate from the newly proposed Electoral Act. The organizers have announced that the protest will continue tomorrow, and I urge Nigerians to return en masse. We must be at the barricades again, louder, stronger, and more determined. Thank you all for the great job done today. Aluta Continua! #RevolutionNow

BREAKING: SAMMY WEST IS FREE! We are thrilled to announce that Samuel Ojoegwu, popularly known as Sammy West, has regained his freedom and has just been released from prison. He is now on his way to Abuja. While at it, I had the pleasure of meeting the gracious actress Mercy Johnson Okojie and others who came through in solidarity. It’s a moment of relief, joy, and renewed resolve proof that people power works and that injustice can never outlast determination. #FreeSammyWest
