Keep thinking about this nightmarish camera move from the latest Pitt, love how scary Wyle is letting Robby get lol

Nothing personal against this post but it's driving me nuts how literally, categorically false this specific example is lol

As good as it gets man

Really funny how high-class this joke is, think about it all the time lol

Love the ski jump in For Your Eyes Only that's scored like Argento's Inferno lol

Rewatched Tenebrae...still my fave piece of movie violence ever

Thinking again about Sean Penn’s segment of the horrible world cinema auteur 9/11 anthology 11’09”01 SEPTEMBER 11, where 9/11 becomes a magical realism thing that makes Ernest Borgnine’s dead wife’s flowers spring back to life now that the Towers don’t block the sun lol

Been getting into rewatching Roger Moore Bonds lately, and completely forgot about the out of nowhere insanely high-class death scene in Moonraker where Michael Lonsdale sets hounds on Corinne Cléry (the lady from The Story of O) cued to sumptuous as fuck John Barry orchestration

Lane Pryce scene I think about all the time, master at work

Two minutes straight of Ken Takakura and Ryōhei Uchida wandering around 60s Kowloon while lounge jazz plays - can't ask for more than that

Pouring one out for one of the greats

The opening ten minutes that's just shrieking Mink Stole vibrating with hysterical rage in the middle of a domestic female melodrama parody...probably the funniest thing Waters ever did

RIP Screaming Mad George 🕊️

RIP Olivia Hussey

Once again thinking about THE all-time disrespectful Hong Kong action cinema moment

Love all these guys

The part where Dafoe is in a sickness fugue state on the couch, utterly transfixed by Robert Aldrich’s Vera Cruz - one of the realest things I’ve ever seen in a Benning film

Gonna be thinking about all of Screaming Mad George's showstopper effects sequences for the rest of the night, pouring one out

Meiko Kaiji, one of the greatest actresses of all time

What I've learned from watching all these early Teruo Ishii movies is that before he became a gonzo exploitationist the man was singularly gifted at staging/filming musical performance, the energy of this sequence is so electric!!!!

Off the dome: please watch Yoshimitsu Morita's Deaths in Tokimeki (1984)

Unbelievably high quality "guy getting hit in the chest so hard he starts coughing up blood" shit in this, you've never seen such tremendous martial arts movie blood coughing
