Budgam, 1990 — Planned Ambush In 1990, while I was serving as District SP Budgam, terrorists planned an ambush after villagers invited us to their area. The intended targets were me and the DC Budgam. That day, I didn’t go. Instead, two DySPs and one SHO went in our place. In the ambush that followed, one DySP and the SHO were killed, while another DySP was seriously injured. This video recounts that day, and pays tribute to the brave officers who faced the attack and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
