“Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad” is absolutely befitting for Shri Revanth Reddy (Revanth Reddy), who is consumed by the arrogance of dictatorial authority and stubbornly refusing to address the genuine demands of the unemployed youth. His blatant disregard for their struggles only deepens their anger, and he will inevitably face the consequences of his authoritarian attitude. The Telangana government under Telangana CMO has clearly lost its way, resorting to arresting youngsters who are simply demanding the withdrawal of the unjust, malicious and illegal GO 29, that any sensible court is likely to strike down. As the GO 29 is already challenged and ultimately would be overturned by the High Court or Supreme Court, why conduct a test at all, especially one whose outcome depends on a final court verdict? What is wrong to reschedule the exam till the court gives its final verdict? The rigidity of Revanth Reddy is creating unrest among the unemployed youth, who aspire to become state administrative officers, but instead are being arrested by the police. Is there an undeclared emergency in Telangana where the youth cannot protest for their legitimate demands? Is there a separate constitution governing Telangana? Why this dictatorial suppression? Expose of Land Grabbing by Real Estate Mafia & their Brutal Atrocities in Basavatarakam Nagar, Gachibowli, Heart of Hyderabad, while the State Govt is Blind.. It is deeply disturbing and utterly unacceptable that precious government land in Basavatarakam Nagar, Gachibowli, the very heartland of Hyderabad is being brazenly encroached upon using fake documents by a well-organized real estate mafia, whose activities are reportedly being shielded by those in ruling govt. . What’s even more heart-wrenching is the pathetic plight of innocent Dalits, Adivasis (tribals), and the poor, who have been living here for over 40 Years. . These are not encroachers they are rightful residents, living with dignity on public land for generations with ration cards, adhar cards, legitimate electircity connections and other civic amenities. In 2021, Shri Revanth Reddy Revanth Reddy, in the capacity of #TPCC President, visited Basavatarakam Nagar and publicly assured these communities that he would grant them pattas (land rights) if voted to power. But today, in a brazen opportunistic manner, his govt reportedly colluded with the land grabbers and forgot his promises. As a result, barbaric goondas and rowdies, backed by real estate mafia aided few powerful leaders in govt , launched violent attacks on residents, demolished their homes, and attempted to murder them in broad daylight. However, the silence of the state and dist administration is deafening neither the District Collector Collector Rangareddy , nor the Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, nor the Chief Minister Telangana CMO , nor even the Cyberabad Police unfortunately came to their rescue. Cyberabad Police. This is a draconian, criminal silence and tacit support by the present government that emboldens land mafias and punishes the poor.. We, the BRS Party, therefore, demand the following with utmost urgency and resolve: 1. Permanent 2 Bed Room Indiramma houses for all existing residents of Basavatarakam Nagar in the same location. 2. Immediate cancellation of all fake and fraudulent land documents being used by the real estate mafia. 3.Strict legal action against the perpetrators who demolished houses and assaulted the residents. 4.A comprehensive inquiry into the role of officials and police who turned a blind eye to this brutality. 5.A strong and clear assurance from the government to protect these govt lands from being usurped by private mafias.
