Fikile Mbalula must stop misleading the public. Under Commissar Nkululeko Dunga’s tenure as MMC for Finance in the City of Ekurhuleni, the municipality obtained an unqualified audit outcome. Attempts to erase or distort that record are dishonest and politically opportunistic. The real question is why Fikile Mbalula is so determined to defend Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza despite the growing political and governance concerns surrounding his leadership? South Africans deserve accountability, not selective outrage.
