Over 100,000 people filled Tel Aviv's streets for the annual Pride Parade - one of the world's largest Pride celebrations and the Middle East's most significant. In a region where LGBTQ+ individuals face persecution and danger, Israel stands out as a place where LGBTQ+ people can live openly, proudly, and authentically. 🇮🇱🏳️🌈

A UN official engaged with an antisemitic post - replacing the Star of David with a swastika on Israel's flag. Instead of condemning it, she replied: "I look forward to constructive engagement." That official is Vanessa Frazier, the UN Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict. Israel's Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon publicly exposed her record - engaging with antisemitic social media accounts, amplifying unfounded accusations against Israel, and demonstrating systemic bias - and is now calling on Secretary-General António Guterres to launch an official investigation. "She is not the exception. She reflects a deeper problem within parts of the UN, where bias against Israel too often outweighs the commitment to truth and impartiality." Danny Danon 🇮🇱 דני דנון

A powerful moment that deserves a re-share: 7 years ago, former Iranian judoka Saeid Mollaei was forced by the Iranian regime to avoid a match with Israeli judoka Sagi Muki due to his Israeli nationality. Mollaei fled to Europe after he criticized the Iranian regime's discriminatory actions, and even dedicated his silver medal win at the Tokyo Olympics to Israel in 2021, thanking the country for its support. Muki and Mollaei subsequently struck up a close friendship, and for the first time, they faced each other last year at the Budapest Grand Slam. Mollaei won the fight, and the two men hugged, sending a powerful message that friendship knows no political bounds. 💙🥋🇮🇱 sagi muki Saeid Mollaei

When she was a freshman in high school, a group of boys drew swastikas on her Israeli flag on Multicultural Day. It was the first time she had ever experienced antisemitism - and instead of letting it silence her, she turned the pain into art. "Being Jewish to me is about carrying on my history," she says. "My grandparents were Holocaust survivors. They fought so hard to survive, and it's my job to continue this legacy." Today, she is Miss Israel - and this November, she will represent Israel on the international stage at Miss Universe in Puerto Rico. As a StandWithUs High School Fellow, she found her voice, her confidence, and her conviction. Now she will carry that same pride onto one of the world's biggest stages. We could not be more proud. The entire StandWithUs family will be cheering you on. 🇮🇱👑 Danielle Yablonka

The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations called on the international community to stop funding UNRWA, stating that its schools "indoctrinate hatred of Jews and glorify terrorism" and arguing that the organization has become "a subsidiary of Hamas," with employees who took part in the October 7, 2023 massacre. Beyond horrifying: ‘Tulane for #Palestine’, a group not registered with the university but made up of Tulane students, held a pro-#Hamas rally off campus. Jewish and Israeli students, as well as their allies, peacefully held #Israeli flags across the road, and were viciously attacked and beat up by a group of pro-Hamas demonstrators. A pro-Hamas student was going to burn the Israeli flag when a Jewish student decided to take the flag away. As a crowd of Hamas supporting students rushed towards the Jewish student, security in the area went to break it up, but not before a pro-Hamas protester hit a student in the head with a pole, resulting in the hospitalization of the Jewish student. Since the event wasn’t on campus, however, Tulane did not intervene. This is what college students are experiencing on and off campus around the country. Now, more than ever, administrations must stand by their Jewish students.
