Fifty years ago on July 4, 1976, the IDF began the daring Operation Entebbe in which they rescued over 100 Jewish and Israeli hostages held in Uganda by PFLP terrorists. Yonatan (Yoni) Netanyahu, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's brother and one of the IDF commanders leading the mission, was the only Israeli casualty during the operation. Fifty years later, Uganda has unveiled a memorial to Yoni Netanyahu in the spot where he fell during Operation Entebbe. We remember this act of heroism and sacrifice that saved so many lives. May his memory forever be a blessing.

When screams broke out aboard flydubai Flight FZ1073, Israeli dentist Dr. Shota Musaev didn't wait for anyone to call him. He ran forward and joined the passengers who overpowered and tied up the attacker - one of four who took control of the situation. "I came to fight the attacker when I heard the screams," he said. Beyond horrifying: ‘Tulane for #Palestine’, a group not registered with the university but made up of Tulane students, held a pro-#Hamas rally off campus. Jewish and Israeli students, as well as their allies, peacefully held #Israeli flags across the road, and were viciously attacked and beat up by a group of pro-Hamas demonstrators. A pro-Hamas student was going to burn the Israeli flag when a Jewish student decided to take the flag away. As a crowd of Hamas supporting students rushed towards the Jewish student, security in the area went to break it up, but not before a pro-Hamas protester hit a student in the head with a pole, resulting in the hospitalization of the Jewish student. Since the event wasn’t on campus, however, Tulane did not intervene. This is what college students are experiencing on and off campus around the country. Now, more than ever, administrations must stand by their Jewish students.
