Asked Carson Hocevar about why he put out this PSA. He said there was a group of kids at his merch hauler and he wanted to sign autographs for all of them, but a few people leaned over and got in front of them. Says it's become a trend, too. "I just wanted to at least say something of like 'hey, cool it a little bit when they're kids.' Because it'd be really easy for two adults to step in front of a kid and I don't even see them. "And then that kid - 100%, because I was that kid - would think that I ignored them because how did you not see me." Hocevar actually related it to when he was a kid trying to get Dale Earnhardt Jr. 's autograph at the Daytona 500 only for other adults to hound Dale as he was leaving the intro truck.

Denny Hamlin said he appreciated and will display the regular season championship trophy that his fans gave to him before the race. "I don't know if it's 3D printed or out of wood or whatever, but they did a great job." Denny also said he thought the percentage the new package made the race was actually higher than he estimated. Said it was a weird race because of the stages and he thinks the key is going to be getting the stages right to match the racing product it created when the pack was going all out. "If you can push the first stage back a little bit from Lap 35 to like Lap 45 and then give those other stages five laps less, you're gonna have people racing all out the entire race."

"I would be in extreme favor of Kyle winning the vote. I think that he's a guy that certainly poured a lot of his life into this sport. Although he might've been getting boos a lot of weeks, he also had a lot of fans, and a lot of really passionate fans. "I really haven't processed all of that, I guess, to get to that point. Breakdown of the Kevin Magnussen vs. Noah Gragson beef. It began when Magnussen put the bumper to Noah and knocked him out of the way in Turn 2 on about Lap 25 which set him off. "All these F1 dickheads just think they get fenders and a fuckin' bumper, they just drive in the inside and just barrel into everyone. I've fuckin' had it." Gragson shipped Magnussen in the chicane about a lap after their initial contact, then drove up and against Magnussen during the caution for the Turn 1 pileup, gave him the finger for several moments, then gave him the finger again when they stopped for the red flag. Once the red flag was lifted and Magnussen passed Noah (after being told he'd line up between the 43 and 4), Noah took a shot at Magnussen's right rear fender and then his door. On the restart, Noah shipped Magnussen into Turn 3 and continued taking shots at him. Things finally calmed down for awhile until the Tyler Reddick spin, in which Noah ended up passing Magnussen. The next lap after Alex Bowman passed Noah, it looked like Magnussen just cleaned him out in Turn 4. "Welp, the 4 just got shipped. I don't know if it was by us or somebody else, but he's in the wall." "To be honest to you, it looked like it was us."

Kyle Larson has made it to Iowa in time to race in tonight's Knoxville Nationals. This is how it became possible on the NASCAR end of things in Richmond. With around 114 laps to go, crew chief Cliff Daniels informed Larson that Knoxville was in a delay and that they were working on plans for him. Once the checkered flag fell, Daniels told Larson that he had been excused from NASCAR media obligations and that it was still raining in Knoxville but the race hadn't been canceled yet. "We've got arrangements for you leaving here and once you get on the ground there. So once you get out of the car, hustle up." "OK. Thank you guys." Kyle then parked at the end of pit road, unbuckled, and took off.

Kyle Larson shared that the Busch family expressed their appreciation for the "Tiny Kyle" namerail in last week's Coke 600, and also that it got a good laugh out of Brexton. His wife Katelyn has been keeping in contact with Samantha Busch who shared that with them. Kyle said that he put plans in place last Saturday to put Tiny Kyle - what Kyle called him and also what Brexton calls him - on his namerail as others started putting Kyle's name or Rowdy on theirs. This is what happened on Kyle Busch's radio: Busch was dealing with a loose racecar and couldn't get in the corner with it. Eventually, crew chief Jim Pohlman became frustrated their adjustments weren't working. "What is the frickin' problem now? Is the thing sideways or is it plowing? What the fuck does it look like!?" Spotter Derek Kneeland said it still wasn't getting in the corner and Pohlman snapped again. "Why? I don't get it! We tighten it up and why can't it get in the fuckin' corner!?" "I don't know. I've got a headset on, not a helmet. I don't, I don't know." "We keep tightening it up and we keep going slower!" After Busch's spin and more discussion on how to make the car better, Kneeland spoke directly to Pohlman under caution and told him yelling at each other won't help and they need to keep it together. "You copy?" "Yeah, I copy. It's the same shit every week."
