I celebrated the anniversary of “Music Box of Fate” today with RiKU, Lesage, and Baji. In the process of reminiscing about the song and talking about my approach to orchestrating, I… discovered that I regained the ability to hear music in my mind, which I’d lost after my near-death experience. It was so loud, clear, and vivid. I feel alive again. I’m so so so lucky to be here, to have the friends I have, to have made such a special song with Mousey and RiKU, and to have been given a second chance at life.
