Infinite is a good Sonic villain because he's a loser. He's an insecure bully on a power trip. He's a regular person like anyone but he's hiding behind a literal mask that cracks when someone can actually stand up to him and crumbles against the powers that are truly Infinite.

Mid-level cutscenes so long I forgot I was playing the game for a bit. Can sonic team figure out methods to remove stuff like this on replays. Sure, include them in story mode but if I select it on a level select don't include it. I'm probably never replaying this for fun.

Despite everything, I still wholly believe Frontiers has one of the best endings in the series. Hope Sonic Team gets to put the time in to make the next game extra special. I will knock the execution, but I can't say this game didn't spark a lost love for me with Sonic analysis.

Sonic is not realistic and the way his heart works reflects that. One of my favourite scenes in the series is his final words in 06 because he keeps it simple. Even at the collapse of all worlds and time. He doesn't even know it till the end that his last words are Elise Emi.
