Narcoterrorist groups have poisoned the American people. We’re working with countries across our region to dismantle these groups, cut off their networks, and stop them from poisoning Americans. Under President Donald J. Trump and Secretary Marco Rubio, leadership is back in our hemisphere.

Honored to participate in my first Department press briefing today. I talked about my commitment to the American people to always speak directly and clearly about the Department’s policies and priorities, and I outlined what President Donald J. Trump and Secretary Marco Rubio have been doing to make America stronger, safer, and more prosperous. America is back!

We’ve revoked over 250,000 visas under the Trump administration. We are not going to allow foreigners here on visas to drive drunk on our streets, to assault our people, or to steal from our stores. That is grounds for revocation.

The Cuban regime’s own incompetent policies are responsible for the island’s humanitarian crisis. We have offered $100 million in humanitarian assistance that goes directly to the Cuban people, not the regime. We want to see a Cuba where Cubans can be free, happy, and prosperous.
