The fate of Ukrainian boys and girls abducted by Russia is not an abstract issue—it is a deliberate action, carried out as a regular Russian wartime tactic. Thousands of Ukrainian children have been forcibly trafficked, stripped of their identity, and even their citizenship. This week, at the hearing in the U.S. Senate.

Russia’s crimes against Ukrainian children are staggering: nearly 20,000 recorded cases of deportation and forced transfer, and 1.6 million children living under occupation. #Russia is systematically indoctrinating them — with at least 210 sites used to impose its ideology.

1000 days ago, the longest day began for Ukrainians: on February 24, 2022, russia launched an open and full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It feels like that day has never truly ended. We go to bed with one set of news and wake up to another. Day after day, we fight, defend our cities. We take back what is ours. We bring our people back home. We provide support. Over these 1000 days, 12 Survivor Relief Centres — both stationary and mobile — have opened across Ukraine, ensuring that everyone in need receives help. These 1000 days have tested our strength, but showed our resilience, unity and determination. Slava Ukraini!
