PEOPLE HAVE GOT HOMELESSNESS COMPLETELY WRONG (and it’s fcking maddening) I know about homelessness. I unfortunately have seen it every day for years just walking around the streets of Los Angeles. I’ve been chased, taunted, threatened, sexually harassed, had objects thrown at me and just downright horrified and terrified by hundreds of run ins with mentally ill drug addicts and that’s a common story for everyone I know in California. The current “elected” state and city leadership has not only not been maliciously negligent in how they’ve handled the situation but they’ve clearly made choices that expanded the homeless and drug addiction issue. Their handling of our tax payer funds meant to help our suffering neighbors have been wasted and criminally squandered amongst the cronies of the California elite (which peasants like you and I will never be). So many people don’t get that a large percentage of these mentally ill and drug addicted people REFUSE to be housed and just end up back on the street in a few days by CHOICE. This isn’t hyperbole or opinion. We have a long history of FAILED homeless policies and attempts that are very consistent in showing society what DOES NOT WORK. Yet politicians keep claiming they need millions and billions more while we watch homeless INCREASE year after year. Pro Tip: California doesn’t need another fcking dime towards homelessness. We are FLUSH WITH TAX DOLLARS. What we NEED is criminal politicians to quit STEALING, wasting and squandering funds while they bleed hard working Californian taxpayers dry. We NEED our vapid, hapless, arrogant and condescending “leaders”to stop purposely choosing proven ridiculous and FAILED methods over and over and over ad nauseam while gaslighting the public and purporting to “fix” homelessness when everything they do is nothing more than a decoy so they can continue to award exorbitant and criminal “contracts” to their cronies and skim the rest back for themselves with illegal “campaign” donations from those same people Homeless people in LA are mentally ill and drug addicts. What they urgently NEED is to be committed involuntarily to a facility for long term mental health counseling and forced into complete sobriety before they are released. And we need Trump to continue to b0mb the Hell out of shipments of drugs coming into the country or this horror-coaster ride will NEVER end. In summary: Building tiny homes for exorbitant amounts of tax payer dollars while Bass and her cronies skim whatever they want off the top is not only NOT HELPFUL but also CRIMINAL. Strangely, this is directly adjacent to where another huge fire occurred the day after Christmas (1.5 weeks prior) at the famous Morrison Hotel. I imagine most people were too busy celebrating Christmas to even hear about it. UPDATE: Figured out what the MASSIVE police response I filmed last night in Downtown Los Angeles was about… VERY grateful I didn’t go outside at the time because it ended too close to where I was and in an area with thousands of pedestrians exiting an event at Crypto Arena. Not to mention hundreds of locals out with their children and walking their dogs. “Two suspects were detained after a high-speed chase ended in downtown LA. The chase began on the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway for an apparent HOV lane violation. ➡️ SPEEDS reached OVER 100 mph on the 10 Freeway from Azusa, according to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig. The gray SUV was seen driving on the 101 Freeway, on surface streets around Glendale Boulevard, and eventually got back onto the 101 south heading to the 110 Freeway. ➡️ SPEEDS REACHED UP TO 125 mph. The suspects drove through Echo Park, Westlake, and downtown LA where they eventually lost police. ➡️ The suspects PARKED their car at a building near 12th Street and Pembroke Lane and FLED ON FOOT. Two people exited the car and ran towards a high-rise building.
