💥 BREAKING in Los Angeles: THIS IS INSANE TWO multi casualty events simultaneously in LA Okay I just saw crazy helicopter activity over DTLA all headed toward the valley and it turns out we just NOW simultaneously had two horrific accidents both reportedly in Chatsworth A metro bus just collided with an SUV in Chatsworth with multiple injuries and deaths. They’re saying they’re trying to get an elderly woman off the bus still AND ALSO in Chatsworth a HELICOPTER just crashed and burst into flames. It may have been a media helicopter covering the bus crash we don’t know yet Please PRAY for all involved this is breaking news and we don’t have much information yet Developing…

BREAKING: Karen Bass gives statement on deadly helicopter crash and deadly bus crash in Chatsworth just north east of Los Angeles today and something appears to be really WRONG with her. She seems to be stuttering and struggling to speak and it’s truly BIZARRE. It almost seems like maybe she hadn’t expected to give a statement tonight and maybe had taken medication or something prior - I don’t know what’s going on but I’ve never seen her struggle this much to give a basic statement.

UPDATE LA Helicopter Crash: NBC4 LA has confirmed it was their NewsChopper4 that crashed today in Chatsworth near Los Angeles while covering a deadly metro bus crash that occurred just moments prior. I’ve received several unverified reports that one of those onboard may have been this beautiful woman, Eliana Moreno, who is the NBC4 news chopper reporter and photographer. Again those on board are still as yet unverified by NBC4. Sending everyone involved and their families all the love and support tonight form DTLA. Developing…

This is heartbreaking listening to stu mundel a long time FOX 11 Los Angeles aerial reporter’s voice breaking up just talking about the helicopter crash in Chatsworth today that left at least 3 dead, almost certainly one or two of his colleagues. It sounds like he’s gong to burst into tears and who can blame him. You can feel the pain in his voice it’s palpable. Please pray for those affected by the two horrible crashes in Chatsworth today (helicopter and bus crash). A rough evening for all in Los Angeles.

The extreme dichotomy existing in Los Angeles right now never ceases to astound me In this video on the left is an abandoned construction site with homeless living in RVs right up in the half finished ruin of a condo…and ONE block to the right is the drivers in blacked out SUVs parked by LA Convention Center waiting to pick up the celebrities attending the Emmys tonight Absolute abject poverty, ruin, hopelessness and homelessness juxtaposed next to the Emmys and top 1% of wealth and privilege in the world in mere BLOCKS is WILD Reminder that these are the people lecturing you from the TV in $12k ballgowns for not doing enough and guilting you to donate more of YOUR modest salary to help the very people they drive by and completely IGNORE as they’re leaving glamorous awards shows with goody bags worth tens of thousands of dollars The blatant hypocrisy of it all is astounding and I’ll never get used to it

Imagine spending between $3k to $24k a month in rent (yes I meant TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND dollars a month) in a high rise building in Los Angeles only to find out (in the news) your neighbor has enough fentanyl in their apartment (that shares ventilation ducts with yours) to KILL ALL of LA County…and also an ALLIGATOR. This ain’t fiction y’all because a few lucky humans went through exactly that recently. Oh and fun fact: imagine all that occurring just a few blocks from the California Fed. Yep. The FEDERAL BANK of California. Receipts in comments. 🐊

UPDATE: Figured out what the MASSIVE police response I filmed last night in Downtown Los Angeles was about… VERY grateful I didn’t go outside at the time because it ended too close to where I was and in an area with thousands of pedestrians exiting an event at Crypto Arena. Not to mention hundreds of locals out with their children and walking their dogs. “Two suspects were detained after a high-speed chase ended in downtown LA. The chase began on the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway for an apparent HOV lane violation. ➡️ SPEEDS reached OVER 100 mph on the 10 Freeway from Azusa, according to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig. The gray SUV was seen driving on the 101 Freeway, on surface streets around Glendale Boulevard, and eventually got back onto the 101 south heading to the 110 Freeway. ➡️ SPEEDS REACHED UP TO 125 mph. The suspects drove through Echo Park, Westlake, and downtown LA where they eventually lost police. ➡️ The suspects PARKED their car at a building near 12th Street and Pembroke Lane and FLED ON FOOT. Two people exited the car and ran towards a high-rise building. The two suspects were eventually located and detained.” Well done LAPD and CHP! 👏🏻 Via: California Highway Patrol & SkyFOX (brevity/ emphasis mine)

Downtown Los Angeles experienced something pretty difficult this weekend. And I believe it’s an important moment to remind everyone in LA and beyond that, despite it all wherever you are and whatever you’re going through, you are not alone. People legit care about you. Even people that don’t yet know you. Never hesitate to reach out if you need a friend or need help. You are not alone.
