Despite his condition, Stickman was able to learn about cryptocurrencies early and has been a part of Web3 communities ever since. Stick DAO was founded to support his journey and form a Web3 hub for people with special needs. Stick DAO will be spotlighting the stories of disabled individuals, onboarding them into Web3, and educating them on cryptocurrencies. Stickman knows how hard it is for disabled people to socialize and make a living with their limited opportunities from home. Web3 is a great space for them to socialize, build their presence, and even find ways to earn their living. The purpose of Stick DAO is to build a sustainable project that can help spread life-changing stories from Web3 to everyone. StickDAO is a web3 hub for people with special needs, a platform that spotlights and supports life changing ideas. 🪄 It's a 7 month old journey with a lot of beautiful memories. One of the most notable moments was meeting meow and Jupiter in Catstanbul. We can not thank enough for his continuous support to Stickman in his journey to become one of the Neuralink patients. Our founder @0xstickmaneth, a spinal cord injury survivor, uses his computer with a stick in his mouth. He thinks web3 is the perfect platform for people with disabilities, they can easily socialize and grow. He says: "During the 18 years that he was battling with his condition, web3 was the only place he felt confident. I was just like any other people there and never felt discriminated against." Now, his goal is to move to the U.S. and apply for Neuralink. In short, our mission is to onboard people like him to the web3 ecosystem, educate them, invite them into our events, help them find job opportunities and share their stories in our community.
