You saw it. Mark Carney has been sworn in as Canada’s 24th Prime Minister today. I had him in the red chair 13 years ago and had a sense that this would be a part of his journey. It’s interesting to see how people’s paths unfold, especially when you get a glimpse of their drive early on. During that same interview, we dug into some big topics, including the challenges of navigating economic policy and international relations, particularly with the U.S. With tariffs on a lot of people's minds, here’s a revisit with this quick clip.

POWER TRIP’s Riley Gale would have turned 37 today. He had an inclusive political stance and vocals like a sledgehammer - he was a beloved figure in the hardcore thrash metal world. Thirty years ago, we woke up to the news that he was gone. Remember how everyone was talking about it? It was a time when depression and addiction weren’t talked about the way they are today, especially how it tangled up with the chaos of fame. Depression and addiction affect so many, and it’s not as easy as choosing to be happy or not. It’s complex, clinical, and can deeply impact one’s life.
