Disturbing scenes of a convoy, ambushed about 9km NE of El Fasher, attempting to escape on the day the city fell, 26 Oct. Videos correspond with fire signatures in Sentinel-2 imagery (Copernicus/European Space Agency). RSF killed both soldiers and non-combatants indiscriminately.

استعادة تأسيس لزمام المبادرة سودان وور مونيتور استعادة قوات تحالف السودان التأسيسي (تأسيس) لزمام المبادرة في النيل الأزرق بعد انتكاسات الشهر الماضي في الكرمك وشمال كردفان. وأعلن حساب قوات الدعم السريع، رأس الرمح في قوات التحالف، الأمس الثلاثاء عن سيطرته على مدينة قيسان جنوب شرق الدمازين، حاضرة الولاية. ولم ينشر الحساب مقاطع تثبت سيطرته على قيسان في نفس يوم الهجوم، على غير ما جرت العادة، بعد توجيهات قائده الفريق أول محمد حمدان دقلو بتغيير أسلوب الحرب ومنع التصوير في أثناء المعارك. وانتشرت صباح اليوم الأربعاء مقاطع لقوات تأسيس من أمام مركز صحي المدينة، من حسابات منصات تفاعل اجتماعي مناصرة لقوات التحالف، مع تعليق بضرورة إتباع نفس نهج تأجيل نشر المقاطع بعد انجلاء غبار المعركة. وتنطلق قوات التحالف في هجماتها بالنيل الأزرق من الأراضي الأثيوبية، حسب مقاطع فيديو راجعتها سودان وور مونيتور.

The Sudanese military has been blocking civilians from leaving El Obeid and forcibly recruiting. In this video, the commander of a SAF-allied militia threatens civilians, saying, "Old and young must take up arms. Anyone who thinks of fleeing, we will deal with him with a bullet.”

📷 Troops from the 16th Division of the Sudan Army ("Hunter" mobile force) operating in North Kordofan. Fighting in the state is taking place along two major axes: (1) SAF is attacking south in attempt to break the siege of Dilling. (2) RSF is nearing the state capital El Obeid.

The Rapid Support Forces shot down a IL-76 cargo plane in Sudan, reportedly in Babanusa. If this location is confirmed, the aircraft likely was involved in resupplying the besieged 22nd Infantry Division. Human remains in the wreckage indicate some or all of the crew were killed.

RSF units advanced north from Ulu in Baw locality in Sudan’s Blue Nile State early Sunday, reaching a remote Sudanese military garrison at Silik, about 16 km from Ulu, according to videos reviewed by Sudan War Monitor. While videos posted on pro-RSF channels shows the paramilitary's soldiers at the Sudanese military base, control of the area remains contested, with SAF–aligned sources reporting that the attack was repelled and the garrison remains under government control. Independent verification is ongoing. Silik lies close to South Sudan’s Renk and Maban counties, an area that has previously seen cross-border clashes between RSF units (who withdrew from southern Sennar and Tadamon locality on Blue Nile) and South Sudan's rebel SPLA-IO forces last year. Supply trucks arriving in Dilling, South Kordofan. Hopes for economic & humanitarian relief have risen since the partial lifting of the siege by the Sudanese military. However, the UN relayed yesterday: "Our humanitarian colleagues tell us that access routes are still cut off."

The RSF advanced into Um Baru and Kernoi localities in North Darfur, displacing approximately 7,000 civilians. In the first video, RSF troops enter Um Baru on 24 Dec 2025. Limited clashes took place between RSF and the SAF-allied Joint Force, which controlled the region hitherto.

Competing claims for control of Alloba, 1 Jan 2026. The Sudanese army previously entered this village 22 Dec before withdrawing. Fighting here indicates SAF achieved max 20-25 km gains on this axis since launch of Dilling relief operation. They remain roughly 100 km from Dilling.

Sudan army's seized two bridges in Khartoum today, triggering fierce fighting as RSF tried to contain the advance & drive the attackers back to the Nile. Presently, we estimate the bridgehead is 1-1.5 km deep with the frontline approximately between the Hilton & National Museum.
