This young man got stopped as soon as he drove away from his driving test. Kudos to how the officer handled the situation. When my son turned 16, I took him to drive the day before his test. He turned the wrong way on a quiet little one way for a few yards, stopped, and turned into a parking lot. A police officer saw it and wrote him a ticket. Even after hearing that we were practicing with a driver permit. I’ll never forget that.

The Asian Longhorn Tick has managed to get all the way from East Asia to the U.S. It has just been detected in Alabama, and is actively spreading across the Southeast. A single female can clone herself and lay thousands of eggs without a male. Populations explode rapidly. The ticks swarm livestock and pets in such massive numbers that they can cause fatal blood loss. If you find a tick, secure it to a card with cellophane tape and report it to your veterinarian immediately for species identification.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968 at just 39 years old. James Earl Ray was found guilty but, claimed he was a scapegoat. After a four-week trial with over 70 witnesses, a Memphis jury in December 1999, unanimously found that “others, including governmental agencies,” participated in a conspiracy to assassinate Dr. King and frame Ray. They awarded the family the token $100 they had requested. The DOJ explicitly rejected the civil verdict's conspiracy claims as based on "secondhand and thirdhand hearsay and speculation," noting that civil trials use a lower standard of proof. They concluded that James Earl Ray fired the fatal shot. What do you think?

Jingang is a South Korean ranch horse famous for dramatic scenes that look like something out of a movie, but they are actually a self-taught habit he developed to avoid work. When approached for work, he voluntarily collapses, closes his eyes, and hangs his tongue out, only to spring back to life once the rider leaves. He either figured out that if he lies down, people will stop trying to ride him or something is terribly wrong with him. 😂
