The time Mtukudzi covered a Chimbetu hit: In 1986, Simon and Naison Chimbetu recorded Ndiyamure, on the Dendera Resango album. Tuku loved the track, recorded his own version. He later performed it on stage a few times with Sulu Chimbetu.

Zim rock legend 🎸 In ‘72, a young guitarist tore up a rock festival in Mutare, in a T-shirt that read: “Hendrix is dead: Manu Kambani is alive.” He died in 95. At his funeral, mourners rolled on the ground with his guitar, like he used to do. Shumaira - Best Zim rock ever!
