Came across this video of Late Sheikh Giro and one thing I learnt as with most scholars of his caliber is that when they come of age, they come to a realization that the method of harshness deployed in their early days of daawah is counter productive. As young people, it’s imperative to learn from the mistakes of scholars that have walked the path, made mistakes and later realized these mistakes. This will guide us in falling into same mistakes. May Allah accept all his good deeds And forgive his errors

The Qur’anic teachers of Tsangaya are truly fascinating. The way they have mastered the Qur’an is amazing. It always amazes me that some people mistakenly refer to these geniuses as illiterate simply because they cannot speak or write in English. Enjoy this masterpiece!!❤️
