David Ortiz had some massive hits throughout the 2013 season. One of the most notorious was when he went off on the dugout phone in Baltimore after being ejected for arguing a bad call (no pun intended). It happened on July 27, 2013.

As Terry Francona wraps up a brilliant managerial career, I look back on one moment from his time in Boston that’s indelibly woven into my brain: his tearful embrace of Jon Lester after Jon’s no hitter at Fenway. I can’t watch it without tearing up myself.

On September 12, 2018, the Red Sox won their 100th game and somehow just seeing Kimbrel on the mound gives me heart palpitations.

The 2011 Red Sox went 7-20 in September. They entered their last game (vs the Os) tied with Tampa for the WC. The Sox had a 3-2 lead in the 9th, but the Os plated two to walk us off, the winner scoring on a ball that Carl Crawford *probably* should've caught. But what do I know.

October 13, 2013. Ten years ago. Another insane comeback in an era that seemed to be defined by insane Red Sox comebacks. Once again, David Ortiz threw us all on his shoulders and somehow made the unbelievable seem oddly believable. Clutch defined.

20 years ago today, before game 4 of the 2004 ALCS, Kevin Millar made one of the boldest, most memorable proclamations in Red Sox history. It was the rallying cry we needed when we literally had nothing left to lose. And we will never forget it.
