Resident Evil speedrun strats are so funny (from Distortion2's run)

Been loving Cronos: The New Dawn. Feels like a blend of Dead Space, Alan Wake 2 and the newer Resident Evils. The resource management is tight and the burn/enemy merge mechanics lead to some great moments. All wrapped in a spooky, post-apocalypse sci-fi narrative.

Whenever there's a remaster of a game, I always like when there's a realtime toggle for the original graphics. It's neat to see how the new atmosphere compares to the original, ect.

Adding a mantling system to your game is a choice and you should fear it.

It was Gloomwood's early access anniversary this weekend, and I'm very grateful for everyone who has supported the game over these years. I know the craving for the bank update (and eventual 1.0) is high. We're working on it. For now, here's a small tease of the bank:

The Steam versions of RE1-3 work on Steam Deck, but you’ll need to make a custom input layout or use one of the community added ones. The default Deck layout doesn’t work correctly. Outside of that, it works pretty well on Deck!

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is also the game that inspired me to add door re-locking to Gloomwood (and enemies being able to break them down).

People saying this game is slow are out of their gourd. I haven't even maxed out the sliders - this is nightmare with 120% speed. You can go all the way up to 200%.
