He just fears the competition. He knows that newcomers will outperform him and tell better stories. The people who didn't get a chance before are now finally going to shine like stars. He says... absolutely no goddamn A.I. It's much more expensive? I don't care. You know? Because, well, listen... The thing is, what we're protecting is the beauty and the redeeming power of art. And it's not about who gets the job, it's about, we are protecting a lineage of art. If we cut a generation of people from learning their craft, you're cutting the rest of the history of that medium away from them, for what?

This perspective comes across as gatekeeping. Dismissing AI as merely a blender of mediocrity ignores its potential as a powerful tool for democratization and innovation. Established creators may feel threatened by new technology that lowers the barrier to entry for aspiring artists, but labeling the technology itself as inherently mediocre shuts down the possibility of creators using these tools to forge entirely new, unique forms of expression that haven't been seen before.
