This is what happens when newly emerged entities and small states—none of which is older than about 400 years—are emboldened enough to declare war on a country whose history spans more than 7,000 years. What we are witnessing today is a lesson in logic, history, and philosophy; in politics, psychology, and military science. It is also a harsh lesson in geography, mathematics, engineering, chemistry, and the rest of the life sciences. A lesson delivered by an angry teacher who had long been patient with the excesses of a group of spoiled adolescents—deceived by money and power in the early stages of their maturity, which they misused—thus receiving the consequence they deserve. I said at the very beginning that it was artificial intelligence. I never expected Trump to insult Mohammed bin Salman in such a manner before the entire world. He insulted him in a way that is both humiliating and shameful. I hope these words touch a nerve regarding his dignity—or the dignity of any Saudi, if they have any of it left.

Saudi Arabia was negotiating and sending mediators to convince Sana'a not to release footage of the ground clashes that occurred on the Yemeni border, in which the bloated and sagging Saudi army was significantly humiliated. Sana'a retained much of the footage not to comply with Riyadh's request, but out of compassion and concern for the feelings of the families. As for the weakness and fatigue of the Saudi army, a few seconds are enough to make everything clear.
