Rik Mayall’s performance as Peeves in Harry Potter was sadly cut from the film, but did you know his voice recordings for Peeves were used in the first Harry Potter game on Playstation? I never knew this.

Only Rik Mayall could drop (literally) into one of the UK’s best sitcoms two minutes before the episode ends and completely steal the show from an ensemble of comedy geniuses led by Rowan Atkinson. Flash by name, Flash by nature!

This scene is one of Bottom’s best. Rik Mayall goes from childlike excitement to bitter resentment, then horniness to naive confusion as Eddie explains his real present. See Ade Edmondson has to pause near the end to allow the audience reaction to subside after a brilliant gag.
