It's quite a bizzarre caricature to describe the Chinese as very good at technology but not that good in social sciences, while the Russians as super good in social sciences but bad at technology. This cartoonish framing sounds Trump-ish...so perhaps, in Ms. Kallas’s world, Europeans are best at imitating American presidents. Let's be clear: calling disinformation campaigns a threat is fair and necessary, but delivering such an interview which is basically an incoherent stream of consciousness (half-sentences, no clear argument, vague statements, caricatures instead of analysis, dismissing this/that because you think it's ridiculous without saying why etc) is self-sabotage. Don’t blame citizens’ attention spans when your disastrous interview makes it impossible to those who listen to list five coherent bullet points on what your arguments and counter-arguments are.

Ever since watching this video,I’ve been wondering: why didn't African American slaves just form a union to negotiate better working conditions with their masters? And why didn't the Native Americans simply file a formal complaint when their land was taken away? Surely the colonizers would have listened to some well-organized feedback. By the way, instead of dumping tea into Boston Harbor, why didn't the American colonists just start a British-themed tea subscription box? That way, they could keep the tea while making a profit. Finally, if Gaza has been free since 2005, why did they waste time on rockets instead of opening at least one McDonald's with a rocket-themed Happy Meal? Clearly, all these groups just lacked a bit of entrepreneurial spirit. If they had been a bit more innovative, history could've been much different.
