your typical overly invested and overly emotional leafs fan here to talk everything leafs :)

Shorts

I can’t believe this mf is back. Why is anyone surprised he wants to be thrown into the fire and for this specific game? We all know he is a psycho.

I fucking fell asleep and I woke up and Matthews scored a hatty and the leafs win 6-5. Seeing Matthews back to this emotional is amazing. This shit is so contagious around the room. We needed this Matthews back so bad.

“Worst crowd in pro sports” give me a break. The Leafs crowd is 100% mood dependant and thats due to what fans have been through in this era. If they”re blowing it, you could hear a pin drop. If they’re playing their hearts the vibe is top tier.

A nice little piece here in the Leafs Morning Take for leafs nation this morning. David Pagnotta says he spoke to both McKennas and Matthews camp. McKennas camp is excited and jacked about the opportunity to play in Toronto. Matthews side is excited. Take a listen. #LeafsForever

If you haven’t listened to this specific part where Mike Johnson talks about Mats Sundin on overdrive I think you should. Says Mats has some strong opinions about what the Leafs need to do, and what the organization should do moving forward. Says Mats is “dialled” in. The part at the end where he mentioned the article that came out about the vibe around the room, the org changing players/family discounts, how they run etc, says Mats would have a positive impact on. I’m assuming Mats read that article and wasn’t very happy….

The William Nylander and Craig Berube relationship is amazing. I’ve never seen a Leafs coach love Willy as much as Chief. #LeafsForever

Remember when Matthew Knies called the whole team soft then went out and scored a hat-trick including the OT winner?

Got this idea this morning. If by chance Matias Maccelli gets a look on the Matthews and Knies line we gotta call it the MATT line (Auston MATThews, MATThew Knies and MATias Maccelli)

I don’t care what you think about Kyper - he is absolutely right here. The way he references the John Tavares injury & what Nick Foligno did in that situation not knowing if it was an accident or not is the best way I’ve heard someone put the situation.

Last day of voting! Let’s get the core 5 together at the All Stars in Toronto. These two have combined a handful of my favourite playoff goals. Keep voting JT & Mo 💙🗳️ #NHLAllStarVote John Tavares #NHLAllStarVote Morgan Rielly
