📚 Well, someone's been doing their reading... The Prime Minister was talking about wealth taxes on Monday, and we couldn't help but notice he's arrived at a conclusion we've been banging on about - and doing the maths on - for months.. if not years! The numbers simply don't stack up. A wealth tax won't magically fix New Zealand's books. It won't solve decades of overspending. And it certainly won't make government more efficient. You can't tax your way out of a spending problem. If we want a stronger economy, lower debt, and a future young Kiwis can actually afford, the answer is smaller government, lower spending, and ensuring the basics are done right.
