The most impressive part about Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love’s long touchdown runs is he knows just how much he needs to turn it on to get to the end zone. He coulda ran much faster than this but he knew he didn’t need to. Like Usain Bolt in his prime.

The way Notre Dame redshirt freshman offensive lineman Will Black moves at 6-7, 316 is freaky. Good depth, lotta leg drive, natural power he’s only just now beginning to totally tap into. The potential he posses to be a multi-year starter and much more is immense.

Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock and head coach Marcus Freeman ripped into Marcello Diomede when he became the third Fighting Irish kicker to miss a kick in ND's 25-10 win over Boston College. Clearly, the Irish coaching staff is not taking the misfires lightly.

Marcus Freeman says he got over Notre Dame being left out of the College Football Playoff within 24 hours. He quickly turned his focus to 2026 and the Fighting Irish’s motto for this year — “leave no doubt.” That earned a handshake from Kirk Herbstreit.

Parents: send your kids to Duke and Notre Dame. Riley Leonard says student-athletes still go to every class at those schools. “And that’s a good thing…Throughout the draft process, these coaches know who are Notre Dame and Duke guys.” Leonard’s fortunate to have attended both.

Stephen A. Smith went on a rant like only he can about Notre Dame’s automatic inclusion in the College Football Playoff if it’s ranked in the top 12 at the end of the season. “This is sickening…Bump Notre Dame. Get your ass in a conference and compete like everybody else.”

Get you a head coach who does anything at practice to help the team ... like Marcus Freeman punting volleyballs to give Notre Dame punt blockers some looks. Whatever it takes.

Marcus Freeman looked uncomfortable talking about the firing of Brian Kelly, who hired him at Notre Dame. But in paying respect to his former boss, Freeman offered perspective that goes beyond football. “If you’re not grateful for what you have, you’ll find a way to lose it.”
