We have the opposite problem in our house. My 4 year old’s siblings are in college, so he assumes he’s capable of what everyone else does. He learned to read in English at 3. Now he’s teaching me Spanish. Waiting to teach until a chart says “age-appropriate” often limits kids. Teach them when they show interest.
