Corentin Moutet was leading 6–0, 5–0. Then he missed a volley, hit the net… and broke it. His mother’s reaction? She went straight to the referee and asked for her own son to be disqualified. 😂 The only problem: by the time she came back, Corentin had already fixed the net and won the match. “I could behave badly… but if I won, it was fine.” A very Moutet story. 😅

🎙️ Taylor Fritz on why he hates on-court coaching: “Tennis is an individual sport. Why should someone else be allowed to tell me what to do during a match? If you’re not smart enough to figure it out yourself, that’s part of the game. The strategy, the mind games — that’s tennis. We’re taking that away.”

They told Jessica Pegula she looked like she didn’t care. Years later, that same calmness has become one of the qualities people admire most about her. In our conversation, Jessica explained why trying to perform emotion only made things worse and why she eventually stopped pretending to be someone she wasn’t. “I’m not going to do a fake fist pump. That’s a complete waste of energy to me.” Does a player need to show emotion to compete at their best?

Patrick Mouratoglou on how one white lie helped Serena win Wimbledon: “She was missing volleys & afraid to move forward. I told her, ‘You win 80% of points at the net.’ It wasn’t true — but she believed it. From then on, she did win 80% at the net… and won Wimbledon.” Mindset is everything.

“Last but not least, I want to thank me.” 😂🏆 When Mirra Andreeva thanked herself after winning Roland-Garros, it instantly became iconic. But behind the joke was something deeper. The work nobody sees. The long days. The tired body. The hours on court. The discipline to show up again and again. Yes, there is a team. Yes, there is support. But at the end of the day, she is the one practicing, sweating, fighting, learning, losing, coming back… and winning. So why not thank yourself? Good job, Mirra. ❤️
