The ULEZ is expanding across all London boroughs from 29 August 2023 🚚 Cars, motorcycles, vans and specialist vehicles (up to and including 3.5 tonnes) and minibuses (up to and including 5 tonnes) need to meet the ULEZ emissions standards to drive within the zone. 🚙 9 out of 10 cars seen driving in outer London on an average day already meet the ULEZ standards, so their drivers will not need to pay. Check your vehicle now 🔗

ULEZ is expanding across all London boroughs from the 29 August this year to help clear London's air. Those in receipt of certain disability benefits currently qualify for a temporary 100% discount. So do disabled people whose vehicles are registered with the DVLA as having disabled or disabled passenger vehicle tax class. There are also exemptions and temporary discounts for certain wheelchair-accessible vehicles, minibuses used for community transport, historic vehicles and some other vehicles too. Eligible NHS patients may also be able to claim back the charge after they've paid. Remember: if your vehicle is registered for an exemption or temporary discount you may still need to pay the ULEZ charge if you drive a different vehicle that doesn't meet the ULEZ emission standards in the zone. 9 out of 10 cars seen driving in outer London already meet the ULEZ emission standards, based on monthly average compliance levels. If you find that your vehicle is not compliant you can check whether you are eligible for the vehicle scrappage scheme. 🔗 Check ULEZ discounts and exemptions
