This was the vibe of our villa in Tuscany. I think FSD will change all of this in the next 10-15 years. You will literally be able to have a nap, read, send some emails and in less than thirty minutes be in a larger center. Imagine sending kids to school autonomously while you stay here etc... Today, I'll admit, this is not for everyone: you feel remote and isolated, Internet is surprisingly very laggy still. Also, sometimes access to villas can be difficult, requiring a bit of off-road (imagine during winter). Would you live in a place like this, if 30-45 minutes from a larger center?

Portugal could have been the European Silicon Valley. How did we get here, and can it still be fixed? I took the time to record a recap: unscripted, unfiltered, backed by data. The goal is to to raise the level of attention on a topic that deserves it and debunk a few myths that keep getting repeated: 1. The NHR was never the migration problem. It's 8.4% of foreign residents. 2. Real estate prices are not correlated with the golden visa or the NHR. They kept rising after both closed. 3. The IFICI model is great. Just not for tech founders. Dedicated to all my Portuguese friends who had to leave the country to make it. No arrogance here, just the conviction that indifference is how Europe became the Europe of 2026. Let's do things differently.
